All images and words within the publication were taken from the short film I Am Easy To Find, written and directed by Mike Mills, and the album of the same name by The National. A Regular Lifetime was made as a personal project.
Using stills, words and lyrics from I Am Easy To Find, a short film and album of the same name by The National, the publication reframes the trajectory of an ordinary life. Throughout the film, the main character is portrayed by the same actress, regardless of the character’s age. Inspired by this, the now non-linear story is reassembled into collections of events and feelings that occur again and again throughout different stages of life.
